OVEN-BAKED CHUCK ROAST

  • 1000g Australian Chuck Eye Roll MB2+ Grain-Fed
  • 40ml Galateo & Friends Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 12g Black Pepper
  • 12g Salt
  • 8piece Garlic Cloves
  • 2piece Onion
  • 60ml Soy Sauce
  • 60ml Beef Broth
  • 800g Potato
  • 800g Broccoli
  • 600g Carrot
Preparation

1. Season your chuck beef with some salt and pepper. Use your hands to season the meat well. You can also use thyme, oregano, or sage for seasoning according to your own taste.


2. Take a pan on the stove pot, add in a little of the olive oil. Place beef over a high flame until it becomes crispy from the outside. It will take 7 to 8 minutes to get some color on the beef.


3. Now stir fry some vegetables. Take a pan, add some oil, an onion bulb, garlic, soy sauce, and beef broth. Sauté them. To add some extra flavors, you can also add red wine, tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, or a combination of these.


4. When the onions become golden brown, place beef in the pan and cover the top with aluminum foil.


5. Transfer the beef to the oven for 1.5 hours at 350F/175C.


6. When the time is over, take the beef out of the oven, add in the remaining vegetables. You can also sprinkle some salt according to your taste. Again cover the pan with aluminum foil and transfer to the oven for 30 minutes at 350F/175C.


A perfectly baked chuck roast with juicy vegetables is ready to serve.
