Chorizo is a smoked and dry-cured sausage originating in Spain. It gets both its rich, smoky flavor and characteristic red hue from the use of paprika, among other spices. This chorizo is imported directly from Spain and made to a traditional recipe with the finest local Spanish Iberico pork, and is cured for one month to create an intensely aromatic, complex flavor. It is best served thinly sliced as part of a charcuterie platter or in a simple sandwich with fresh bread. This premium sausage is all natural, gluten free, and contains no nitrates.
