Rauch wurst is literally defined as ‘smoked sausage’ in German, and as such is an absolutely quintessential German sausage, brimming with juicy, succulent pork and an endlessly satisfying smoky flavor. Ours is crafted by our master butchers to a traditional German recipe, using only the finest imported pork and beef to get this German comfort food just right. It is prepared as one large sausage, each one weighing approximately 460g.

Cooking tip
We suggest serving this the German way, warm alongside traditional German sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. It is also delicious cut into thick slices and served alone or as part of a charcuterie board, dipped in tangy mustard. If enjoying warm, bring water to a heat of 80°C - 175°F, add the sausage, turn off the heat and leave covered for 20 minutes, making sure the water doesn’t boil. Make sure not to prick the sausage to ensure all those great smoky flavors and rich juices stay locked within.
