Banyuls is a powerful red dessert wine made from 100% Grenache using the Vin Doux method. Grenache provides a wealth of ripe dark fruits such as black cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and other dark berries. The wine also features notes of slightly dried fruits like figs and nuts. The wine has a reddish-brown color with a subtle orange hue and a bouquet that combines aromas of port wine and Madeira.

The wine is sweet and rich, making it the perfect match for chocolate desserts, possibly accompanied by some Nut Streusel.
